Eldiablo

El Diablo is the pseudonym of Boris Dolivet, a comic book writer and artist. He is also a painter and illustrator. A graduate of the École des Gobelins, he is the screenwriter of the 60-episode animated television series, "Lascars", broadcast in 1998 on Canal+. The series was later adapted into a feature film and released in theaters in 2009. He began his career in comics (scripts and drawings in Psikopat, Radikal, Chien méchant, Charlie hebdo, Fais netour, Joystick, RER, L'affiche, etc.), and then worked on several animation projects including jingles for MTV, before becoming an animator and graphic designer on the video game Rayman for Ubisoft. He successfully launched into writing and directing short films and animated series, and notably wrote and directed the series Farid et Gomez for Wanadoo Edition, the series Les Lascars for Canal Plus, and the series Licence 2 Chill for MCM. Eldiablo wrote and directed his first live-action film in 2001, Sunday morning Aspirin, a short film with actress Zoé Felix, and in 2005 the animated music video Tu mens for the artist Koba Ali (Warner). El Diablo's imagination is served in turn by designers with a "crazy" style like Pozla (Monkey bizness) or more polished like Cha in "Pizza Roadtrip".
