Shine Royal

An artist in the INT55 and TDK collectives, ShineRoyal has
developed an edgy style that mixes graphic illustration,
writing, and calligraphy with more traditional painting
techniques.
Inspired by the street, he creates worlds in which the figures
are made of piles of objects, lettering is turned upside
down, and shapes ‘collide’ with colours.
He plays with symbols, revisits, interprets, and compares
different imagery, and alternates analogue techniques with
digital graphics.
A graduate and former instructor of graphic design and art
direction at NABA in Milan, he works freelance with various
brands and communication agencies in Italy and Europe.
